Limited Edition Fountain Pen Collaboration with Cross and Fonderie 47

The Pen Shop are proud to announce we have been chosen by fine writing instrument brand Cross, as one of the selected stockists of the Peerless Fonderie 47 Limited Edition Fountain Pen.

This collaboration between Cross and Peter Thum, founder of Fonderie 47, will present a highly covetable collector’s piece, of which only 47 of these writing instruments are being released world-wide.  After discovering many years ago, the devastating effects of assault rifles in Africa, Fonderie 47 have made it their mission to create a series of products to initiate change and alter the future of this destructive landscape.

“In the last 20 years, ongoing wars on the African continent have resulted in the loss of millions of lives. This conflict has largely been enabled due to the widespread availability of assault weapons”.

The purchase of the Peerless Fonderie 47 Fountain Pen presents a moral message, enabling “the destruction of 10 more assault weapons in Africa – weapons that will never again be used to take human lives”.

The Peerless Fonderie 47 Limited Edition features a disk of blackened steel from a melted down AK47 gun embedded in its cap and marked with the Fonderie 47 logo. Around each 18KT gold-filled barrel is a center band showcasing the unique serial number of the gun that has been taken out of circulation to make it.
