Description
The Pelikan Souveran M405 is a medium-small sized and relatively lightweight, luxury fountain pen which features an 14 carat gold nib with full rhodium plating giving a silver-coloured finish.
The striped barrel body of the M405 is made from celluloid acetate which is a cotton derivative and so each one is slightly different to each other, much like wood has different knots and patterns. The barrel is translucent, so you can see how much ink is left inside the pen by holding it upto a light.
The black parts of the pen are made from high quality resin, which has a sheen and is strong and lightweight. The metal trim of the pen is palladium plated.
The gift box included is also pictured and has a removable lid and an ivory coloured faux leather pouch for protecting the pen when being stored or carried. The pouch can take one or two pens.
