Montblanc Muses Marilyn Monroe Special Edition Pearl Fountain Pen

The shape of the Muses Marilyn Monroe was inspired by the iconic 4 inch Ferragamo high-heels, which Marilyn wore, reflecting her femininity and sensuality. The colour of the writing instrument refers to her signature white dress worn in the film ‘The Seven Year Itch’ designed by William Travilla. This scene and dress seen blowing upwards while Marilyn stands over a subway grate is an icon of 20th century film history and imagery. The shape of the clip on the pen features a pearl which recalls her Akoya pearl necklace given to her by husband Joe DiMaggio. To make this pen even more special it has her signature engraved on the cone of each pen.
