The shape of the Muses Marilyn Monroe was inspired by the iconic 4 inch Ferragamo high-heels, which Marilyn wore, reflecting her femininity and sensuality. The colour of the writing instrument refers to her signature lipstick which was Ruby Tuesday by Max Factor. The shape of the clip on the pen features a pearl which recalls her Akoya pearl necklace given to her by husband Joe DiMaggio.
