About this product...

Following the success of the Edition One, Paul Smith is teaming up once again with Caran d'Ache to revisit the iconic 849 ballpoint pen with a new collection of exclusive colours.

“I’m really pleased to be working with them again on some new pens, this time the colours take inspiration from one of my famous stripes.” Paul Smith.

The Edition Two is a selection of colours that are directly inspired by the designer's most famous signature stripe motif, which is often showcased in his permanent creations. These vivid and trendy colours will also be very visible in his Autumn/Winter 2016 fashion collections. Each edition has its own and distinct identity: the soft Edition One contrasts with the very expressive Edition Two.

Offered as a limited edition, each 849 carries the designer's famous signature and comes in an ultra-thin packaging featuring the famous striped motif.
