Overview - The Pen Shop Platinum Club is our way to thank and reward loyal customers for shopping with us.
If you received a card in one of our stores, you will need to visit www.penshop.co.uk/platinum and follow the steps to either link the card to your account or create a new account for shopping with us online and in store.
If you received a Platinum Club card shortly after shopping online with us, you don’t need to do anything.
Cards can only be registered for use in the following Pen Shop stores:
Your Platinum Club card cannot be used in ‘in store concessions’ - branches of The Pen Shop inside other stores such as Debenhams or House of Fraser.
Benefits of the Platinum Club are determined based on the number of transactions you make either in store or online, and a ‘Point’ is given for every transaction. For the purposes of accruing points, a ‘transaction’ is when you pay for a product or service in a Pen Shop store, or pay for a product or service on the Pen Shop website, and your order is completed. If you cancel, return or refund your order in part or whole, your transaction will be voided and a Point will not be rewarded. You will receive one ‘Point’ for each verified transaction.
There are two membership levels to the Platinum Club - Platinum, and Platinum Plus. These depend on the number of Points that you accumulate or the amount you spend. Once you have enrolled, your online account will always accrue Points for each transaction and, as long as you present your card, in store purchases will always accrue Points.
Registering your card and opening an account automatically enters you into the Platinum Club. Members receive the following benefits:
First Visit - Money-Off Voucher - Once your first transaction is verified, a voucher will be issued to you to redeem for a discount off your next order up to the value of £5.00. You will be issued with a unique voucher code via email to redeem in store or online. You must use this voucher code within 30 days of receipt. You will receive only one (1) voucher which cannot be used multiple times or exchanged for cash.
News & Offers - As a Platinum Club member, you’ll be the first to hear about exclusive product launches, limited editions and offers.
Personal Benefits - From time to time, we will team up with a Writing Instrument Brand or Supplier to provide you with a relevant offer based on products you have previously bought as part of your Platinum Club membership.
Service Benefits - Every transaction you make as part of the Platinum Club is registered to you; meaning if you lose your proof of purchase, need to identify a refill type, or we need to identify a pen you’ve bought during your time in the Platinum Club for service or repair, these details are safely stored in your Platinum Club account for you.
After shopping with us four (4) times in a 12 consecutive month period, or spending £1,000 (whichever comes first), you will reach the Platinum Plus membership level. As well as all of the benefits of our Platinum Club, you will be eligible to receive:
10% off all orders - As a thank you for shopping with us, you will receive a 10% discount on every product you buy from The Pen Shop for that year, on top of any other sale offers and discounts. This will be strictly limited to your account and Platinum Card, and is not saleable or transferable.
Platinum Plus offers - As part of our exclusive Platinum Plus tier, you’ll also be eligible to receive offers, event invitations, rewards and gifts exclusive to Platinum Plus members.
To maintain your Platinum Plus Membership benefits, you must shop with us at least four (4) times in the 12 months following the date at which you attained your Platinum Plus membership. If you do not earn enough points during this period, your membership will revert to the Platinum level. If your Platinum Plus Membership is about to expire, we will let you know.
Qualifying Purchases - The following transactions are qualifying purchases and will earn rewards:

Where you make a qualifying purchase but decide to return the item(s) purchased or to cancel your order, we will adjust your Points balance to reflect this. If you have redeemed any offers or discounts prior to returning an item, we may contact you to ask you not to use your Platinum Club card in this way. If you continue to use your Platinum Club card in this way, we may cancel your Platinum Card membership immediately without notice as set out in these terms and conditions.
There is no membership fee associated with the Pen Shop Platinum Club. Points accumulated under the programme have no monetary value.
Your Points, benefits, cards and account are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends, co-workers or others.
Pen Shop Platinum Club benefits are available at participating Pen Shop stores listed above and are subject to change. The Pen Shop Ltd reserves the right to terminate your account and/or your participation in the Pen Shop Platinum Club if The Pen Shop Ltd believes that you have violated these Terms & Conditions.
The Pen Shop Ltd. also reserves the right to cancel and make ineligible for The Pen Shop Platinum Club any Card or Account that has been inactive for 24 months. Inactive is defined as no purchase activity.
The Pen Shop Ltd reserves the right to discontinue, cancel, terminate or amend the Platinum Club and its terms at any time and, at its sole discretion, without notice to you.
