The Pen Shop is Europe's largest chain of writing instrument specialists, and one of only two pen shop chains in the world.

With stores in prime city locations, The Pen Shop has 25 branches nationwide, including stand-alone shops as well as concessions within department stores Debenhams, House Of Fraser, Beales, Jenners, and Tax free stores at Heathrow, and Stansted airports.

The Pen Shop stocks a wide range of luxury pen brands, including Montblanc, Faber Castell, Caran d'Ache, Cross, Parker and Waterman, whilst also offering a number of gifts and accessories from suppliers such as Filofax and Grants of Dalvey.

As well as our retail outlets, The Pen Shop have a corporate and mail order division. We have two own brand products a range of luxury leather goods and our pen collection under the Kingsley brand, we also supply a range of desk clocks and letter openers under the name MODVS.

T&G Allan

T & G Allan was set up by Newcastle-born brothers, Thomas and George Allan in 1858, and located on Collingwood Street in Newcastle, the store was initially a newsagent, stationery shop and bookseller. But before long, new departments including gifts, pens and greeting cards were introduced and new stores were opened.

As new generations of the Allan family emerged and took over the running of the company, the business expanded. The company opened a Pen Shop in Newcastle in 1946, the first specialist writing instrument shop in the UK, but it wasnt until 1987 that a design concept was developed that would enable The Pen Shop to become Europes largest writing instrument specialist.

Today the company has 24 branches of The Pen Shop across the UK and a T&G Allan store in Morpeth.
